I introduce one of the new goods of Japan. It is a cigarette. Possibly you hate cigarettes, so if you are so, forgive me, and please read this article as one of information only.

The name of this introduced cigarette is "Zero Style". The feature of this cigarette is without smoke. There are some cigarettes without smoke in Japan already. However, the many are not perfect. Zero Style is a true cigarette without smoke. Therefore, a lot of Japanese were surprised at May this year. Yes, this cigarette was put on sale on May 18 this year.

*However, it is a sale of the Tokyo limitation now.

In the cigarette, there is a white cartridge. Only the cartridge is sold too. One cartridge can be used for one day. Moreover, the taste of this cigarette is menthol.

I bought this cigarette in Tokyo for the souvenir in June though this cigarette was sold only in Tokyo now. To my regret, I was not smoking this cigarette yet. My friend who got this from me says that this cigarette is not so bad.

Moreover, partly airline and the railway company in Japan admit to use this cigarette inside the cabin.

This might be good as one of the souvenirs of Japan though this cigarette is put on the sale only in Tokyo now.

This is my favorite normal cigarette which is made in Japan. The name is "Peace". It's good name, isn't it? The price of this is 300yen (about 3 dollars). The tax of the cigarette of Japan is cheap. I hear that the price of the cigarette in Australia and Britain etc is high. How much is the cigarette in your country?

The cigarette is not good for health. I will try to stop smoking soon this year. Is it possible? hahaha

A lot of people's expectation came true yesterday. The Hatoyama prime minister declared the resignation yesterday. And, his in service period was about eight months only. The biggest reason to resign is secession from the coalition government of Shamin-tou (Social Democratic Party).

The Hatoyama political power is coalition government of three parties. The photo above is the party leader of three parties.

Hatoyama solved the problem of Futenma in last month. The problem of Futenma is a base of Marine Corps in the United States that is stationed in Japan.

However, the Fukushima party leader of Shamin-tou did not follow the Hatoyama prime minister's decision of this problem, and therefore, she was dismissed by Hatoyama, and she has seceded the Hatoyama political power. Her political power secession is a great blow for Minshu-tou, and this is a responsibility of Hatoyama in Minshu-tou.
Moreover, Hatoyama has already lost the voter's support, and there are a big election in Japan next month, therefore, he resigned.

Japan is democracy, and the prime minister in Japan resigns at once. However, I praise the decision of yesterday's Hatoyama, because he had the grace to resign his position. I pray for his activity in the future.

The head of state (Prime Minister) Hatoyama has many many special big problem now. And he will not be able to solve the problem. He might resign in May! And the many people in a country hopes for it.

The Hatoyama prime minister who is a present head of state assumed the position last September. In Japan, the political power changed because of last year's election. The Jimin-tou (Liberal-Democratic Party) as the ruling party was defeated at the election, and the Minshu-tou (Democratic Party) as the opposition won greatly. And Hatoyama who was the party leader of Minshu-tou assumed the position of the prime minister. The many people in a country expected it of a new wind.

However, the people learnt he did not have leader's ability several months later.

The nuclear security summit was held in Washington in US at April 12 and 13. The United States newspaper said the maximum defeat person was Hatoyama after the summit. Hatoyama is not trusted by Obama. The photograph above is April 15. Hatoyama is a insensitive person.

And Japan has big problem with US now, it is a base of the occupation forces in Japan.

After World War II, a lot of U.S. forces is stationed in many places in Japan. However a lot of Japanese do not deny the occupation forces, because Japanese likes American very much. Why Japanese likes American? After the war, the American greatly helped the revival of Japan, moreover, the Europe and America people is seen to the gentleman for the Japanese, and the Japanese respected people in Western Europe from the age of the samurai. Therefore, the U.S. Army was popular in Japan.

I like airplanes very much, of course, I like United States fighter too. So I often went to the base of the air force to see the airplane.

However, the person near the base is sometimes troubled. Especially, the Futenma base in Okinawa is in the residential area. The military aircraft falls sometimes, and the resident lives with the roar and danger every day. Therefore, the government in Japan and the United States planned to move the Futenma base. The place is called Henoko of same Okinawa Island. It had been settled.

However, Minshu-tou that was a new political power destroyed the plad to move after last year's change of power, and at the end of last year, the Hatoyama prime minister said it settled the problem of Futenma by May, 2010. The United States was surprised at his action, and The Hatoyama prime minister said to President Obama "Trust Me!" at Japan-U.S. Summit.

Therefor, Hatoyama might be resigned in May. He had said befor that I resign when I fail in this Futenma. And this political power has a lot of other problems now.

Hatoyama is not disliked as man, however, because he is too gentle, he doesn't have the decision power. And his maximum failure was to have made the time limit in May. Of course, all causes are not only him. Minshu-tou is united with the other two political parties, and the other two political parties also make a lot of problems. Moreover, Jimin-tou that is the old government party runs on the road of the division. Therefore, a new political party is often born. The politics of Japan is confused.

I think that democracy is good, so a lot of people and groups can say the opinion freely. However, in Japan, there are not star of politics like Nakasone, Koizumi and so on. The star of politics is necessary at times, because the political world where the star doesn't exist is always divided. Sometimes, a strong person is necessary even for the liitle bad person. Especialy, Japan now.

His face is a gag. His name is Kanpei Hazama.
He is 60 years old as of 2009, and he became a disciple of the show business at the age of 19. He did the singer and the actor besides the gag. The feature of his gag is vulgar and crude. However, he built a social position by having continued for years, and he became one of the very popular entertainer. There is no Japanese who doesn't know him now. The parents also like him though the parents are serious because children mimic his gag.

The name of his representative gag is "Kaiiiii-no", "Ahe-ahe-ahe-ahe", "Aaaaaaa-mema", "Name-name-kuji-kuji-name-kuji-kuji", etc. I cannot explain the meaning of this gag. Because it is very difficult to translate a Japanese gag to English. Ask it to Japanese if you have Japanese in near, he will play the gag. hahaha

Kanpei Hazama is challenging Earth Marathon with his sick "prostate cancer"!

This story is a fighting spirit of Kanpei Hazama. Earth Marathon is around world by marathon and sailboat.

He started Osaka in Japan on December 17, 2008. At first, he ran to Chiba in Japan in two weeks, and he sailed from Chiba to Los Angeles of the United States with the sailboat. After that he crossed the American Continent to New York by the marathon in 4 months. And he went over the Atlantic Ocean by Sailboat, and he arrived at Le Havre of France on August 17, 2009. Again, he is continuing the marathon of the Eurasia crossing to Qindao in China. After Qindao, he go to Japan by sailboat and run inside Japan to Osaka. It is said that reach to Japan for 1 year or more.

But,
It turned out that he suffered from prostate cancer in Istanbul in Turkey on January 4, 2010. However, he decided to keep running on January 13 though he worried very much. Why does he keep running? He said that, at first this marathon was for me only, but it changed for people who assists him from world, and this marathon is gag! Now, many many people from world assists him. So he chose to run.
His sick news was very large in Japan. But I had known that his choice when I heard that news, because he lives for people always. Yes, gag is for people. I pay high tribute to his courage and his gag!

*Because he runs while being treated, he is no problem, and cancer is got over by modern medical care now.

He started Osaka in Japan on December 17, 2008. People thought that this marathon was a performance of his gag though he was good at the marathon. However, he canceled many his regular program on TV for this marathon.

After he arrived US, he started to spread his gag to people in the world.

Of course, the children also does his gag.

He arrived at New York on July 8, 2009. A lot of people blest his arrival.

His marathon becomes famous, and he is covered about the television and the newspaper in various places. She is a journalist of the television of Bulgaria.

And, the newspapers of various places publish his marathon and he is very pleased.

People who wait for him, and assist in him. Kanpei is already famous and popular.

They were German's family, and they were waiting for the arrival of Kanpei at their place. But the battery of their cameras was empty.....

Kanpei entered Turkey in December, 2009. He is VIP also in Turkey. The police in Turkey follow him for his safety.

The policeman laughed by the gag of kanpei.

She is Mitsuyo and Kanpei's wife. She is always supporting him with other staff. And this photo, they ate in the Japanese restaurant in Istanbul in Turkey. They were pleased with Japanese food after a long time.

And, he is running toward Japan while fighting against cancer now.

The recall of TOYOTA is one of the big news of the world now. The number of cars of the recall is about 10 million. TOYOTA lost their big dredits now. However, this big news of world was small in Japan. Because the recall car was made by US or Europe. Those car was made by local with local person and automobile parts. As for the news in Japan, this TOYOTA was not large. The scandal of politician or Sumo (Japanese wrestling) is bigger news in Japan rather than this TOYOTA's news in these months.

But I watched news on the television today that PRIUS of TOYOTA made in Japan has the trouble in the brake system since last summer and TOYOTA is keeping to disregard this trouble, and the car with this breakdown is causing the accident. TOYOTA is terrible car now. The number of sales of TOYOTA in 2008 became No.1 in the world. I think that only the number of sales in the head of TOYOTA in these years, and other automakers in Japan are disturbed by TOYOTA.
